Location is ideal, right near the beach and restaurants. The elevators need serious upgrades; only one was working. Staff were friendly and accommodating. My room had a great ocean view, but there were cleanliness issues. Wi-Fi was reliable, which is a plus.

The room was incredibly uncomfortable. The temperature was stifling, reaching 85%, with no AC to alleviate the heat. I noticed a strong odor reminiscent of animal urine, which was quite off-putting. The bed offered little support, and the thin blanket did not help. The bathroom faucet was loose, and the shower barely functioned, dribbling water instead of providing an actual spray. Noise was constant; thin walls let me hear neighbors clearly. The balcony was filthy, covered in bird droppings, and rusty nails protruded from the carpet—definitely a safety concern.

Fantastic location right on the beach. The upper-level loft with partial ocean views was serene, perfect for wave-watching. Comfy beds, friendly staff, and an early check-in made for a hopeful start. the reality fell short—broken elevators, musty rooms, and questionable cleanliness marred the experience. The pool wasn’t inviting, and maintenance issues were rampant, from rusty nails to sparse towels. While the staff was helpful, the overall upkeep and condition left much to be desired. Wouldn’t return, but that view was tough to beat.

The beach is practically your backyard. The staff are super helpful, and the rooms are spacious enough for a small family reunion.

The hotel is right on the beach, and we loved how the main strip led us directly into the heart of Seaside where we found so many shops and restaurants within just a few steps, while key attractions like the Seaside Aquarium and Lewis and Clark Monument were all less than a 5-minute walk away; plus, the hotel had comfy rooms and a nice pool area to unwind after a day of exploring, but we did encounter some cleanliness issues with our room that could use improvement.

Kids under 18 stay free, walking distance to Seaside attractions – the fun Aquarium, bustling Carousel Mall, and fascinating Museum. Our family enjoyed the unbeatable oceanfront view, comfy beddings, and great water pressure in the shower.
My wife says that families would benefit from more kid-friendly activities.

Marvellous ocean views, convenient amenities, and unforgettable sunsets. Needed some stress relief in the hot tub, steam room, and sauna. Kid-friendly with shopping nearby, loved the crab pot at The Shilo Restaurant and Lounge.
Dreading my daily elevator adventure in this luxurious hotel.

the room was adequate in size, and the bed was alright. pillows went flat the moment our heads hit them. everything was clean upon arrival. the location had everything within walking distance, and the easy access to the beach was very nice. parking was easy and convenient. the view was wonderful and being by the beach was a definite plus.

During our romantic escape, we enjoyed being just steps away from the beach, perfect for morning strolls. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, and we appreciated the convenient kitchen setup in the room. The pool area looked nice, although we didn't have the chance to use it.

During my recent stay at Shilo Inn, I experienced a mix of positives and negatives. Let's start with the positives. The location of the hotel was fantastic, right on the promenade with a lovely view from our balcony. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a nice touch to our stay. Now for the not-so-great aspects. The room was a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. The heating system seemed to be faulty, with only half of the heater working properly, and a draft coming in from a drafty window. This made the room quite uncomfortable and chilly. The sink in the bathroom was also clogged, and despite attempts to fix it, the issue was not resolved during our entire 5-day stay. The coffee facilities were disappointing as well, with only decaf and regular coffee packets provided, and no creamer or sugar available. This made enjoying a cup of coffee in the room quite frustrating. the cleanliness of the pool and hot tub left much to be desired, with murky water and floating debris in the hot tub. The hotel itself seemed rundown, with issues such as broken lights, outdated furniture, and worn-out carpet contributing to an overall sense of neglect.

Had a chill weekend in this joint close to The Prom and the beach, perfect for beach lovers like me. Staff was cool as hell and plenty of parking spots available, which was convenient. Plus, the restaurant downstairs was a nice touch for grabbing a quick bite.
Dude, the place needs a serious facelift. From busted elevators and dirty carpets to broken ice machines and worn-out furniture, it was a bit of a letdown.

Our stay at this beachside hotel was everything we could have hoped for. The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach and the lively Main Street. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided quick and efficient service. The room, although tiny, had everything we needed and the balcony overlooking the ocean was a definite highlight. We appreciated the convenient amenities such as the on-site car park and free Wi-Fi. it was a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations!
The overpowering room deodorizer scent, which made me feel nauseous and gave me a headache for days afterwards.

We were so close to the Aquarium, Mall, and Museum - straight fire! Chillin' at the beach and hittin' up those spots was lit, yo! Free stay for the youngins was clutch!
If there was a better spot for partying it would've been sick.

loved the beach views and convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. enjoyed the local insights from a friendly young man who changed our bedding. the pool area was a nice touch.
